Im gonna be honest... Most mods suffer from what I like to call "Beep Earrape" which is when the 'lyrics' are much louder than the instrumental. Your ears get assaulted by sound effects which completely breaks the immersion lf the actual music underneath.

characters are usually NOT what their original counterparts are, usually a "quirky" personality that has a fetish for mcdonalds and makes the same jokes

GF has a very suggestive outfit, immediately backed up with "FNF isn't a kids game fuk you kys lol"

charting is purposely messy and random, for the sake of competing for the hardest mod

all characters are made very suggestive to feed simps and grow the mod

even when begged to make the mod "easier", the dev will immediately post a troll icon and say "no lol"

most humor is a sped up rapping of a sprite

Fun fact and theory: i honestly think that fnf songs have beep boop vocals without lyrics because when you're doing something you need to focus on (like playing the mod), lyrics can be distractive so simple beep boop vocals are there to not be distracting for the player, but songs were added in the first place because thats how music games work. If they had lyrics, most of them would sound very cool, but if you're used to them, some can also sound good without normal lyrics and vocals


Or what if some modders want to do very hard and fast songs but they cant add lyrics because it would be too fast? (Take termination as an example, or censory overload on the spam part)

I think one of the worse ones would be those who make their mod hard for the sake of being noticed and recorded onto Youtube, so what's made out is a messy slurry of notes that *BARELY* resemble anything musical.

It's kinda like the Rivals of Aether modding scene when Cosmic Ronald got popular, so there was basically a mad dash to keep one upping eachother.
