Bruh this is too true, can't tell you how many otherwise well made mods were ruined for me by the fact that the penultimate song makes the notes invisible, shakes them around the entire screen, kills you if you miss a single note (or hit a single _bad_ note that is identical to the good notes), makes you play Flight of the Bumblebee using only your spacebar while playing the actual song, etc. etc.

And then it's encouraged by people in comments of videos like "Wowee zowee! That was some straight up *fungal* charting my dudes!! Also cool VFX and love the fair and balanced difficulty, just like how I love the taste of literal doodoo garbage and the sensation of thick water in my throat!!!"
