First install VMware tools on the Virtual Machine

Once the VM has rebooted, power down the VM

We need to add two advanced configuration options to the VM's configuration file

Right click the VM - Edit Settings - Options Tab - General - Configuration Parameters

Add a new row

Next to this, under the Value column, type FALSE

Once both rows are added, power on the VM

Test the new copy and paste functionality

I cannot for the life of me copy or past texts between VM and local machine. I updated VM machine config to



All successfully but still I cannot copy and paste text between local and vm machine. Anyone have a resolution for this?

hi, help me please, i have one physical server and i install VMware esxi 6.7 and mount a lots of VM, but i dont serach how enable copy/paste between machines :(, i add the command lines : isolation.tools.copy.disable FALSE - isolation.tools.paste.disable FALSE, but dont works. help please ! have a great day
