I once made a theory that Zeno didn't actually "destroy" 6 universes. The theory goes originally their were only 6 universes in total. After a situation which caused Zeno/High Priest to destroy the Gods of Destruction and/or angels of the original 6, Zeno used his ability to literally split those universes, making the 12 we have now. That's why each universe has a twin, why some species exists in both universes and why the symbolic core of each universe tends to complement it's twin like smarts/strength or love/justice.

I've always liked the idea that the saiyans were created by someone from one of those destroyed universes and that they were a plague race created to eventually overthrow the gods. Somehow surviving that universe's destruction and ending up in 6 and 7.

As the anime mentioned that Zeno has already predicted the result of the tournament, I think Zeno planned to bring back the other 6 universes by 17's wish. As you said that Zeno would have destroyed everything if other wish have been made so according to me he planned everything from the start of the tournament

Also, how did the twin system work when those universes were present ? Was it a change in numbering or something else ?

I think I remember that in the manga the reason he erased those six universe was explained because he summoned all of the destroyers for a game of hide-and-seek and beerus fell asleep he couldn't find him, and he got frustrated and he wiped out six of those universes.

Theory: Let’s say a regular mortal experienced war and trauma and Zeno didn’t help his people. Dude has power but he can cut though dimensions and enter other universes. He gather mutual allies with same POV and attempted to launch a rebellion they failed.
Now: A survivor from that turmoil tries to start a new rebellion to kill Zeno and Broly, Goku etc, to build a new world

Uh, don't you mean millions or billions of years? If Xeno is that young, it begs the question. Where, when or how did he rise to power. You'd think the god of the multiverse would be as old as the multiverse itself. Unless I'm missing something.

Universe's rising up against Zeno is an interesting idea that I'd like to see play out on screen or in the manga. Make it happen!

I think their was a rebellion. Each universe has evil in it but those universes must have had something that really stood out. As we have seen more than one universe very likely has a demon realm. The demon that killed Jiren's friends and parents was likely from Universe 11. So I could easily see universe 13-18 having several demons that wanted to take over the god hierarchy. Maybe they were even strong enough to defeat the gods of destruction which caused Zeno to erase those universes.

I always thought of corrupted Angels. Anything else, the Gods of Destruction or the good Angels themselves should be strong enough to take care of whatever evil/corruption inhabits their universes.

actually the omni-king has not shown compassion or a streak of “good” at ALL. if anything, he is an entirely dispassionate and pragmatic ruler. im not sure how you can say any different with how he casually wipes out an entire universe and doesnt even blink.

i think ur theory is spot on - it is the only thing that would allow for great arcs moving forward should the show continue.

My theory is, when 17 made the wish to bring back all universes that was erased by zeno m, 17 wasn't specific enough to say which zeno since there are 2 of them, which means future trunks world was also brought back
