The “Thank you” at the end would keep me coming back

At his age, alone and working so darn hard... but getting that heartfelt "thank you" in the end... To each his own. Please go again and rate the food.

The fact that you tell the chef your order and doesn’t even reply, but still cooks it is just hilarious 😂

An introverts dream.
I just moved w my boyfriend to his hometown, and it’s a very very small town. EVERYONE knows eachother, or of eachother. You cant go anywhere without someone having a conversation w you and holding you verbally hostage. But the owner of the Chinese’s kiosk . He’s my hero. You walk in to his store, he doesn’t greet you. He doesn’t ask you how you are, he doesn’t answer you when you ask him how he is. He doesn’t say bye when you leave his store. He just wants you to buy whatever it is you need to buy, and get out. And I respect that .

The dude is in his own kitchen and people keep invading and asking for food, but he's too polite to turn them down.

he's not ignoring anyone, he's just locked in

That atmosphere of "you walked into MY restaurant, sit down somewhere, tell me what you want and shut up, here is some delicious food, thank you" is seriously an experience I can get behind

He is busy cooking and plating. No signs means all his customers come from word of mouth. So they know his food is good and what to expect. I’m sure everything gets cleaned at the end of the day. I mean he looks pretty old and at that age I hope to be just enjoying life. So more power to him. I hope he keeps doing what he wants.

There are quite a few of these scattered throughout Japan. I love them! Always good.

“certainly isn’t for people who like talking” is one of the best things you could tell an introvert

I love shit like this because he's a man who does exactly what he's good at and doesn't bother with anything else. He's goals

As a chef, I hate working in open kitchens. This would be me, if I was forced to work in such an open kitchen. He is my spirit animal.
