Advanced sorting methods in Excel that allow you to sort by multiple columns at the same time.

This is a great little trick that allows you to quickly and simply organize large lists of data in order to more easily view what you need for your work.

This Excel quickie uses the custom or advanced sorting methods and covers everything you need to get the job done.

Another great thing with sorting like this, which I forgot to mention in the video, is that you can perform lookups on the data to return the lowest or highest values from a list with duplicate values simply by first sorting the data - this allows you to use simpler lookup formulas while getting the results that you need.

Thanks for the video. You can also sort in groupings quickly without resorting to the formal sort dialog by doing successive column sorts in the reverse order of priority. So, for example, if you want to end up sorted by Name and then Total from highest to lowest within each name grouping, first sort on Total, then sort on Name. You will end up on the same place as using the formal sort menu and setting up multiple sort levels, as you demonstrated in the video. Of course, the formal sort menu has many more features and options. But, for doing it quickly, you can get there with a couple of right clicks, as long as you do it in the reverse order of priority. Thanks for this Video. In my Dataset we have 200+ columns, and it becomes difficult to add each column one by one. Please update if we have any formula where we can add multiple columns at once.

If I purchase 11 bottles of drink and then I got 1 bottle extra as bonus. and if I purchase 21 bottles of drink then i got 3 bottles extra as bounus.
How can i set this condition in excel file?
