After watching this I have a far deeper appreciation of how actors have to really dig deep to act and react realistically when surrounded only by sets that are CGI green screens and props. That said, Cavill is hands down the best Superman.

I've watched Man of Steel more than 10x...never gets old and truly one of my all-time favorite movies. Characters were casted perfectly with their fitting actor/actress counterpart. Michael Shannon.... brilliant as General Zod. Fight and battle scenes were magnificent. The score, the story, special effects....outstanding. The best Superman of them all since SPMN II and I'm puzzled why many viewers felt differently.
