I suggest some new names could be "Nessie" variant. "Bigfoot" variant. "Toothfairy" variant. "Santa Claus" Variant.

I would use this for intro to immunity for students except for the statement at 1:21 & 1:33, "...more serious/severe cases." These confuse, and should be "...a higher number of serious/severe cases." Clearly, that's the meaning of your statements.

This video was actually amazing in content. However I'm curious. If someone vaccinated can still get infected then this very basic process can still occur, as science shows, within their vaccinated body and theoretically that vaccinated individual with the new variant could infect someone, even another fully vaccinated individual?! The way things are presented give people a false sense of security it seems.

If covid has so many variants in a short period of time it is conceivable that the same variant could generate in two locations on the earth independent of each other. If all viruses mutate then why are we linking variants to location?
