If a rabbit sleeps that deep it’s because it’s not afraid of it’s surroundings and feels incredibly safe. It’s very rare I catch my rabbits in that position and even if they are, they get startled by any tiny noise. Well done to you! 🖤

something i call comfort sleep, you dont see this often in true herbivores unless they're very comfortable and feel really safe in their environment, you're a good bun parent if she's doing this every time she sleeps or often when she sleeps

This isn't related to bunnies, but my cat does this all the time, and it genuinely freaks me out. I started crying once because he wouldn't wake up when I shook him, and I thought he died. He woke up a few seconds later and looked at me like I was the dumbest creature he had ever laid his eyes upon 🗿

This happened with our bun Honey! I even went up to him and shook him gently but he was in such a deep sleep! I felt bad when he woke up but I honestly got scared and wanted to make sure he was still breathing😭😭😭

Surprised he slept that deep, when I had a rabbit before and i spooked it it still laid down in that position but with an eye open like he doesn't trust me or summ 😂

Reminds me of my bunny laying in that position 2 weeks ago. Heard some suspicious noise downstairs and thought that he was jumping around... Went downstairs and unfortunately he wasn't jumping around. I think he had a Tumor, heart attack or stroke. Last thing i did was petting him and calming him down while he was screaming of pain. After like 15-20 seconds he was gone. Just nearly two years old and completely healthy until this moment. I loved this little guy with every part of my body. He would always chase me around in my garden and climb on my face when i was lying on the couch... Enjoy the time with your pets before they are gone, guys

My guinea scares me too 😭 some times shes sleep with her eyes close and I’m used to seeing them open so I poke her a couple of times to make sure she’s ok. She doesn’t like it when I interrupt her nap time
