I have a gym teacher that was in the military he always pushed us to our limit but in the end he really cared for us. He wanted us be our best selves. And I will never forget how many bad memories I had with him but the good memories over power those memories

That act of kindness reminds me of when in the book: the journey to the center of the earth. When axel’s uncle saved him when he passed out due to dehydration and his uncle gave him the sips of water he needed to keep on going. In the volcano of course and his uncle is a very stubborn man and axel was surprised by his act of kindness.
