Vilnius University Library Restoration Department is the oldest department from all the left Lithuanian libraries restoration departments. Here unique manuscripts and rare documents which have to be saved for next generations are restored. That kind of responsible job requires very high qualification of the restorers, various chemical and microbiological researches, and modern technical base.
