In Green Lantern: Beware My Power, recently discharged Marine sniper John Stewart is at a crossroads in his life, one which is only complicated by receiving an extraterrestrial ring which grants him the powers of the Green Lantern of Earth. Unfortunately, the ring doesn’t come with instructions – but it does come with baggage, like a horde of interplanetary killers bent on eliminating every Green Lantern in the universe. Now, with the aid of the light-hearted Green Arrow, Adam Strange and Hawkgirl, this reluctant soldier must journey into the heart of a galactic Rann/Thanagar war and somehow succeed where all other Green Lanterns have failed.

Say what you will about DCs live action projects, but their animations are always worth a watch.

I swear Sinestro is the only Green Lantern villain people know. Why can’t we get a movie with Black Hand or Atrocitus or something.

John Stewart was the first Green Lantern I have ever seen. He was my favorite since his appearance in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. He will finally get his own movie.
It's so weird to think about the fact that this movie will be the THIRD Green Lantern animated movie. Why are these characters never got more animated movies? Green Lanterns have so many great stories that could be adapted in animated forms of media, like the Sinestro Corps War (this movie will have some elements of that story), or Blackest Night.
It's kind of disappointing that Hal Jordan dies in the movie, and we will probably not going to see characters like Guy Gardner (my second favorite Green Lantern) and Kyle Rayner.

I like how their showing love to characters u don’t rlly get to see from a lot unless their in the back ground (hawk girl). Plus adding kinda of big character green arrow in there as well. Looks mad decent. Hopefully Warner bros realizes if they stopped pumping money into the movies with unreliable directors and pump it into the animated series of movies, they could do a lot better especially with the less restriction
