Although this decision isn’t a whole W for Sonic fans, I still appreciate Sega for giving us a month’s notice and for acknowledging that this game has a history of mods behind it. If it were me, I’d just wait until October to get Sonic X Shadow Generations since I don’t really understand how to mod Steam games 😅 I have SA1 and SA2 from Steam but would never mod them because I think they’re perfect the way they are, especially SA2

As an Xbox owner, I have never seen any game bundles that don’t exist on another platform. I guess we’ll see what they do.

This is a half w because you will have to pay a lot of money to play it but also at the same time it’s an absolute w that the mods are not going anywhere.

I think they'll probably create new bundles with Sonic Generations in it for both Steam and Xbox, they never specified that the bundle will be only the Ultimate Sonic Bundle in Steam, plus they said Bundle*S*, plural

It's really dumb that they're "delisting" the game just so they can make more money. But at least the mods will be fine and they're not getting rid of the game completely

Couldn't they just make a bundle that only includes Sonic x Shadow Generations and the original game and sell it for the price of 1? What would they lose if the new game has everything from the original Generations?

I honestly think it is kidof a w conisdering the main issue most people had was that the decade of mods would be obsolete but now we have confirmation that that isnt the case. Also i do think the wording is abit unfair about "you need to spend 200 for sonic generations" when youd also be getting a ton of other games in the bundle. Of course if you JUST want generations then you would need to spend that but youre still getting a ton of value and not to mention if you have any of the games in the bundle already, the value of those is subtracted from the full price of the bundle at purchase.

I definitely wouldnt call this an L. Its nice that they found a compromise that honestly kinda works imo. We arent losing value anywhere really, technically.
