Who remembers when you could go to an ice cream van on a British summer's day afternoon and buy a mr whippy cone for 99P?

Well we can remember these days, but they seem to be a distant memory.

we often find that in london or manchester city centres ice cream vans can be charging as much as £4 for a humble mr whippy ice cream.

ice creams should still be 99p in our opinion, so we are taking on the challenge of searching the whole of the UK for a mr whippy ice cream that is sold for 99p.

do you think we will be able to find one?

this is the fourth installment of this fun youtube series.
we travel to southport in the north west of england to see if we can find some 99p 99 mr whippy walls ice cream along their coast line promenade .

This was the week before the 2023 eurovision competition and was alot of fun to film along the prom!

we also find some strawberry sauce too.

If you go to the lakes to one of the stone circles it is the one that has the oldest recipe 1951or something or 1901 they sell it for 2.50

If you go down to Bournemouth, there is rarely one that sells it for 99p, I once saw one for 99p - Goodluck!

Don't think I've ever found a 99 for 99p, but all the ice-cream vans local have always sold them for a pound with free toppings so they don't have to carry around a ton of 1p coins.
To be fair, I'm Northern Irish and nowhere near anything touristy, so that probably explains it

I’ve lived in Ireland and England, and the small ones in Ireland are about 3x that of those from England, as well as being half the price - and not to mention tasting so much better
