I have no shame in admitting that Sanji inspired me to cook in a more efficient manner. He’s resourceful and doesn’t let anything go to waste

I actually prefer these kind of cookbooks where the recipes are ones that actually take place in the story rather than just themed, might actually give it a try!

I know they aren’t explored as much in the series, but I wish it had a small section on the drink/cocktails he makes for Nami and Robin! They always look so good.

Sanji is the reason I became a chef. Literally talking about reducing waste before it was trendy.

I hope we get a big cook book when the show ends or after he finds the all blue.

That meat on the bone was way more creative than I expected meat on bone to be

I like how this explains how Luffy is still healthy. Chicken is a good diet food, and eggs are very nutritious. Along with carbs to help brain function, although Luffy doesn’t have much of that.

You don't feed a man dying of starvation anything with too strong a flavor, hence the "easy on the stomach" fried rice meal for Gin.

That mean in bone recipe was pretty wild. I never would have expected an entire hard-boiled egg was stuck in the middle like the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop. It's really cool that they incorporated the food from the manga and the food photos were really good.

The fried rice not being too salty actually sort of makes sense, wouldn't wanna give a starving man something with a lot of kick and spice after all :p

we need a spinoff where Sanji just teaches us how to cook😭

Bro if sanji had his own cooking show that intro would be PERFECT

Considering these recipes have to appeal to children, as well as adults, I can definitely understand why they'd go for more mild flavours.

They can actually make a book on every crew members like an archeological book for Robin, or a book of medical first aid for chopper etc..

Edit: Thanks for the likes never knew this many people will appreciate a simple thought.

I like how niche it is but the presentation makes it so much better than it has to be. It’s a bit more “artbooky” but those recipes still look so good and worth trying

Most of sanji's cooking is lacking flavour as you said because his whole thing in the beginning was to cook well despite lack of material so he tried to keep the seasoning to a minimum

I think it makes sense why the recipes are so simple. Sanji always makes it a point to be sustainable so he tries to do the best with as little as possible. I didn't even know this cookbook existed so thank you😊

Its a bit weird the One Piece world, which is so strange, has such reliable food.

I recently fell down the One Piece rabbit hole to the extent that I made a dinner inspired by one of my favorite duos: Salmon onigiri (after Zoro's favorite attack move and presumably snack) with miso eggplant (after Zeff's hilarious nickname for Sanji).

So fun to know this exists, and that I could expand on the idea!

I love that you not only show how to make the foods, but also show you tasting them, and you don't have to scrub through a 30 minute video to find the moments you're looking for!! Perfectly formatted cooking video, 16/10 will be watching again 👌
