I don’t know what the few negative people are spinning in the comment section the fact Hisense is out here making a more budget friendly tv with mini leds and local dimming is amazing sure the ones above like the u7n and the u8n are better but don’t accuse the guy of pushing propaganda of the tv manufacturer when he’s just listing off specs the Tv has Hisense has come along way in the past few years of only being known as a budget brand trying to expand in the premium market while still offering good specs at a budget price I got a u6n the other day haven’t set it up yet but from what I’m seeing and if he does a full review looks like a good one especially for the price most normal people who buy TVs don’t care or don’t know the details.

This is definitely on my list to get. I checked it out at Bestbuy in 75in, and beside it was a Sony x80k or something like that. The Sony was nice, and I think it was alil over a grand. The Hisense was 799, and it was holding its own against the Sony. The picture on the Hisense was just as nice as the Sony imo. The Sony just wasn't 200 dollars better than the Hisense. It could be, but ima go with the U6N.

I picked this up last weekend (after my 7 year old Sony gave up). Interface is great and picture is amazing for a budget tv. I watch movies, play games from PS5 (mainly Sniper Elite 5 right now), and play media (videos) from my Synology NAS running Plex and media station. The TV comes with Media player already installed and recognized the NAS without any additional configuration. Being able to type on my iPhone running Google Home (when searching) is great - though I believe pretty standard on most TV’s in 2024. Great TV. (I bought the 65 inch version of this).

I would like to see a comparison with the Hisense U6N vs an expensive tv to see if there is justification in spending 3-4x times the amount $$. I'm assume more expensive may look better but 3~4x better and $$??

Which one should I get: Hisense U68N, U78N, or QD6N, or TCL QD6? Used only for watching TV, movies, and streaming. Am not a gamer. In my view, is the U78N worth $200 more than the U68N for the subwoofer and any other features? How's the viewing angles? The TV will sit on the top shelf of an older entertainment center that was made to hold a 27" CRT TV on the bottom shelf. So most of the time will be lying on a sofa in front looking up to watch TV. Thanks.

Hey Steve...great job on these vids. They are very informative. I'm really interested in Budget sets. One that really interests me is the Sansui 55inch 4K google tv that MicroCenter offers for sale at $199.00. That price is really attractive, but is it junk? If you live close enough to a MicroCenter, a review on this tv would be a hit as I don't see any reviews on YT on this set. Keep up the good job. Thanks!!
