Thing is you can’t delay a thing that isn’t announced yet. If 2025 is the year then it’s simply the release year.

Who is stronger, Paul or the PS5 Pro?

For a game dev I don't think they have to do a LOT of work to shift from the PS5 to PS5 Pro. In general the API is the same with some additions for the Pro to deal with their upscaling and some minor improvements to the API. So, they could pretty easily make a game work for both consoles IMO. The performance outside of RT is not going to be very different if Sony did indeed stick with Zen 2 cores. I personally think they should have jumped up to Zen 4 but who knows maybe they're getting a much better deal using Zen 2. Since I haven't seen leaks I'm confident with I imagine it's TSMC N6 if they stick with Zen 2.

They already have the removable drive. What makes sense to keep cost down is to utilize that and sell the pro as digital only and force the consumer to buy separate. That way they can price the console at 550 for instance and it be 630 total cost.

Would just make sense timing wise. Gives them more time to tweak it as much as they possibly can. The biggest selling point for the PS5 Pro was having it release near the time GTA VI was releasing. With GTA VI being delayed, there isn't much software wise that is going to make the PS5 Pro stand out over the base PS5. Only the most hardcore of PlayStation loyalist will be getting it day one. The rest will hold out.

I really like my ps5 since launch day. I traded an unopened RTX 3080 for my ps5. Do i wish the PS5 had muscles like Paul? Yes. Would i give Sony more money? YES! I have the ps portal, pulse elite, and dual sense edge, sony xm5, xm4, a7r V and a few gm-ii lenses, TAKE ALL MONEY! SEND IT ASAP. Sony for President! 😅
