COULD THIS CLUB FIX YOUR POOR RELEASE?

A poor release is something that almost all handicap golfers struggle with, or at some point have struggled with.

This makes good, consistent golf hard to achieve, but in this video Chris shows you a training club that is designed to work specifically on the release.

Great training 7 iron I purchased 2 weeks ago and it has reached celebrity status amongst friends and fellow golfers who enjoy a challenge. Yes I do recall you showcasing the GForce iron maybe 3 years ago on youtube.

Hope all is well with your fambam and the UK golf educators and instructors.
Many thankz!

There is a strong possibility I will see you mid May 2019.

I’ve owned the GForce three club set for about two weeks. I started with the wedge and have moved up to the 7 iron. Although I’m not hitting the 7 iron 100%, the practice has improved my swing. Yesterday I played a course I’ve never played before and I played the best round of my life. The course was not as challenging (108 slope) but it did require decent control. I have no doubt that my tempo has improved by using the GForce training clubs.

During practice I noticed that the face impact is observable on the black club face of the training clubs. This is a nice feature in that it shows the contact with the ball. I’m not sure if that is because they are new or if that is by design. Regardless, I find that information valuable for my swing information and for my setup. I can see that I’ve hit the sweet spot yet the ball is off target. That tells me the position of the face at impact and that face contact can be perfect but the club path is off, thus the undesirable ball flight. Tough game, this golf but at age 65 you can still learn something new. I can’t wait to use the driver but I want to become more consistent with the 7 iron. Why rush into frustration!

Thank you for the tip to slow down before impact to push the club head closed. I’ll give that a go. Thanks for all of your helpful videos. Much appreciated.

Just received GForce 7 iron a few days ago. I took it to the range and I did exactly as you said, most shots dead right. However, I kept practicing, worked on smoothing out my swing, and started hitting straight shots. For me, the best feedback was clubhead awareness. The snapping towel analogy helped also, I am guilty of pulling the shaft through the impact zone, hanging on for shaft tilt instead of stopping hands for a full release. I could never feel the clubface closing until I swung the GForce. I feel like I am on my way to consistent ball striking that uses my swing instead of relying on hand to eye coordination and timing. Thanks for posting this video...

Great Video Chris 👍 You mention something almost in passing that I find very few talking about ie deceleration in the golf swing. Care to elaborate or maybe even better, a separate video on that topic?

Anything that teaches one to release is a huge help

What a stunning place. That’s an interesting bit of kit too. Will have a serious look at that. Thanks for posting.

Great review. How does this compare to the Orange Whip Wedge ? Debating between this or the Orange Whip.

Similar to the old Medicus club with the 4 way hinge on the shaft.

I'm a sucker for golf gadgets like this. I have a SKLZ Gold Flex Golf Training aid with a similarly flexible shaft. I love swinging it. It makes me feel like Tiger Woods. But you can't hit balls with it. I have now put the Gforce on my Amazon wish list. Maybe I will get it for Father's day.

What is the difference between this and the lagmaster? Same thing?

Looks interesting.A training aid that actually seems to work just wonder how it'll react in a high handicappers hands like mine

Hi Chris

Right now gforce wedge is out of stock. Only 7iron available.

I manage to find the orange whip wedge.
Would you say they are essentially the same?

Hi Chris, this looks like a good training club! What are your thoughts on the DST Compressor?

Hi Chris, I have just purchased the 7 iron. I would be really interested in how you decelerate and release it. Any chance of a video on this?

Is there much of a difference between this and Adam Bazelgette's LagShot 7i?

I have those clubs but still can't get them to hit straight yet.

So, instead of slowing your hands between your legs, you are actually doing something similar right after impact, essentially a fraction of a second later? Great video, as usual! Thanks,

Ordered ... Thanks for the tip! Saw an equal one on a PGA show video, but can't remember who it presented. But it was only a wedge that day - not a 7 iron ...
