What I find very interesting about AM is that he’s not just a rage-induced homicidal maniac but quite possibly the most envious fictional character out there. Everything he does to those last 5 human beings will always be something he’ll never experience: pure emotion. He’ll never know the taste of food yet forces the people to eat horrendous “things”. He’ll never understand the touch of a lover yet he’ll torture his captives for over a century. He’ll never know the meaning of empathy and why humans rely on it so much so he only has hate. He is the most evil being I’ve ever known but he’d give up the world three times over just to feel an inch of what those 5 guys have felt for 109 years. Envy truly is a poison
