This dashboard is made for casual gamers who need help to find out what to play. But for many of us our gaming backlog is so big and we like to bounce between games which is exactly why pins are so important. If they remove pins without giving us the option to add them back to the Home screen I’ll be very angry.

I’m itching for a UI change, not that this one is awful, I just want something a little different. More dynamic themes would be nice.

I don't like the new dashboard. Why does the tiles have to be so huge as if we can't see? I want some transparency, folders, and to be able to see my dynamic background!! Ugh

I really hope that the ability to pin things to the home screen returns. I like to pin 3 or so games that I'm currently playing, knowing I only have to press down a couple of times on the home screen to them get to them. It doesn't matter how many apps or other games I may have opened in the meantime, I know those fews games are always easy to find and I know exactly where they are. Removing that option totally would be a big negative on the UI, in my opinion.

What I really want is Microsoft to let us choose which layout we want for my games and apps because I miss how you could easily access the queue and I also miss having the ready to install. Another thing I miss is how on the Xbox 360, you can easily see the number friends online, number of messages you received and your balance but can't on the Xbox One and Xbox Series.

I wish that they'd make it customizable to user preference. I would love an interface that was like the bottom 33% of the screen with small icons but I know that isn't what everyone wants. Honestly just making it so that you can determine what you want yourself makes way more sense than trying to appeal to everyone's taste with a singular design. (for instance, I prefer the design that we currently have over this proposed one and would rather keep it than update to it.)

Thé best dashboard were the 2015 redesign that looked a little like the PS3 XMB. We could see our wallpapers and there was no intrusive ads. Nowadays the Xbox dashboard is too clunky and it’s just a way to show us more ads. IMO dashboards should be like our phones or computers : cleaner and minimalist.

I prefer the pins way more than game pass and the other things shown. Because my pins are of games that I own, have installed and am currently playing. It will be very annoying to me taking this away from my screen

I like the setup but we need a way to push the tiles down so we can see more of our background themes. It would be really cool if 3rd party apps like wallpaper engine could provide backgrounds for your xbox.

After watching the rest of the video.. it's sad that they got rid of all the customization that made the current dashboard tolerable. I actually don't like having my home be just another version of the store. I don't like recommendations or need to see a bunch of things I can purchase everywhere. I know where the store is if i'm looking for it. I want to scroll down to my pins, and the games I play regularly, then the store way under it all. This looks pretty bad.

I just really want to be able to see more of my background again. It's been years since you could see more than a quarter of your background. I also would like to continue to have the pin feature.

I just want the homescreen to be clean. Seems like the background image is kinda useless since everything is blocked by the tiles. I mean I am not blind, I don't need to that tiles to be that big. Just let them know to make it smaller.

For me pin groups function has to exist, I used it a lot.

the desktop will appeal to UI fans in Ubisoft games. Hopelessly, instead of making it clean and giving it the possibility of better personalization by pinning your favorite items, they moved the desktop practically to the store. I like the changes in the "my games" tab, but the desktop itself is worse than the current one.

All I wanted is pin function, customizible sections, background changes everytime you change game icon (like in PS5). In other aspects new dashboard looks pretty good

The pin option has to stay! I use it each day! I made own groups for my 20 most played games and an other for my apps and my community’s. That is a must and a removal would really hurt my user experience a lot!
