That’s smart. Circle draws your eye to the dot (which is very helpful when you’re starting out and trying to find the dot). Practice and muscle memory will improve your draw until you see the dot every time, but the circle is an outstanding addition to get you there

I bought this in green and best dot ever. I’ve had every single dot you could imagine, this thing is the greatest one for carry.

Love mine, only thing I would change is the ability to switch between the chevron to a dot. Maybe in the future they will have adjustable MOA dots, reticles and colors all on the same optic!!

And for those curious, no you can’t see fully the outer ring when your arms are fully extended to aim the gun. If you see the outer ring, you can easily adjust to find the dot.

Almost had it. Keep the new segmented circle. Bring the Chevron back. It's better for quick acquisition and more precise at distance. And put it in an EPS carry. It would be amazing then.

I wish they would just merge this with the MRS in the standard 507k. Then you could choose between dot, circle, circle dot and vulcan ACSS. When i was new to optics i would have loved the vulcan circle to help find the dot. But now that i dont have issues finding it i like using the dot or the circle reticle.

I have it on my carry gun. I love it for its ease of use but for fast shooting not my favorite. Too much going on. But for emergency/fast aiming in the mid of night, it’s come in handy to help you align the gun and for that I do love it.

Holosun SCS is my favorite optic. Holsun makes some great optics in general, though

For red dot beginners draw bit only go off your iron sights forget the red dot is ther but you will realize once your eye pics up the red dot your brain cancels the iron sights out
