4:41 when I was a neckbeard back in college I was also a fundamentalist Christian so in my experience the guy is more likely to find what he's looking for in church communities like the one I used to be part of, however if the girl does courtship then he basically has to convince the father that he's a good match for his daughter and I doubt he could do that.

5:31 like inceldom I think being a neckbeard has more to do with attitude and personality more than the appearances, as it's often said in that sub it's the beard inside that counts.

I once tried to "cure" a neckbeard. He was THE neckbeard. Living in his parents basement, not caring about hygiene, always complains about not having friends, but then treating everyone around him terribly. When I met him I was 20 and he was 29, now 32 and nothing in his life has changed no matter how I tried to help him.
He even managed to be thrown out of our DnD group for being too annoying and lost many discord server privileges for harassing people, especially the younger women. A few weeks ago he started bragging to my boyfriend about what a great time I was having whenever I met him and together with everything else: being clingy, always trying to touch me somehow and generally being disrespectful, my boyfriend snapped at that. Understandably. I haven't seen the guy in a while now and am incredibly uncomfortable whenever he texts me but I feel like I can't cut him out of my life because he just wouldn't have any friends without me. And to be honest... I'm also a little afraid of him. He knows where I live and if he'd ever get physical against me I also know that he is way stronger than I am.
Does anyone have any advice on how I should handle it?
I know, it's just a comment here, but I had to think of that while watching the video. Thx so much💜
