Let me tell you, from me and I believe from anyone who has followed your Tensor Calculus course, how happy and motivated we are to know that you're doing GR. I took GR this year, I passed with a medium grade. The math behind it I was able to understand it because of you. When I finished GR, my notions about some of the concepts are still a bit shaky, and I've been checking your channel to see if you decided to take on GR so I would be able to see and understand so well as it happened with Tensor Calculus. Thanks a lot really, can't wait to see the whole course uploaded so I can binge watch it and understand what I missed. Thanks again, you really are a great teacher.

I know that you might not see this, but I just want you to know how grateful I am for your videos. I am, like many people here, a self learner. You make the hardest concepts easy to understand. Without you, I wouldn’t be knowing the things that I know right now. This channel is golden, and so are you. I don’t want you to feel rushed. Take a break whenever you want. It doesn’t matter how long it is. We understand that producing these high quality videos takes time, and I want to remind you that you need time for yourself as well. Don’t overwork yourself :)

Do you have a patreon? I am sure that There are many people that would like to donate. I advertised your channel to a math subreddit because there are many people that want to learn this but don’t know where. Thank you so much! You’re awesome! :)

I can't stress enough how this course helped me, from beginning to end.

Your videos are outstanding, Sir! I am a mathematician and had only little affinity to physics so far.
Your lectures in Relativity have changed that with a lasting effect. I am now a self learner watching your lectures regularly with much pleasure and curiosity. Great job!

I just finished your tensor videos in one day. They were delightful. I am happy to see you have lectures on relativity as well. I love your mention of how Einstein built on the work of others. It emphasizes that science is a group effort. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos.

Hallelujah! I'm in Coronavirus lockdown in Italy so now I know what to do! Thank you!

I’ve been looking forward to this ever since I discovered your tensor calculus series a year ago. Thank you so much for doing this.

I wasn't gonna watch this video thinking I understand galilean relativity, but 9:09 actually cleared up a lot of questions I didn't know I had

I was waiting for sooo long and with such impatience for this video series, I watched your tensor calculus videos and I could understand it much better then with other videos, thank you!

Welcome back! Will you ever do a series on simplexes and chains? Or measure theory? I would love to hear it from you.

Thank you Mr. Chrs for making a video series about relativity! As you know, I am that 12-year-old kid who keeps asking you questions about stuff. I was about to ask if you could make a video about relativity, but I guess I won't have to! The whole reason I was obsessed with tensors was because I wanted to learn relativity! thank you! (btw: my name is Jay, but you can call me whatever you want).

Thanks, Chris .I will look out for the new lecture and then continue with my note taking.

oh hell yes bro this is just in time, i'm working on a sci-fi project's FTL stuff, and i'm banging my head against the wall trying to figure out some easily digestible equations for the Alcubierre Drive. I haven't even gotten to wormholes yet and uhh i shudder at the thought right now. this'll be a really nice step back to help me get my thoughts in order

Yay! The most awaited series since Halley’s Comet!

Really like your teaching style! Hope you do an Intro to Quantum Filed Theory soon.

06:01 I think this depends on how fast the car is travelling in the forward facing direction.
- The faster the car is travelling, the more farther the ball is going to fall inside the car.
- So whether the ball falls exactly where it was dropped or farther back --> Is something that is dependent upon how fast the car is travelling within a fraction of a second. Because gravity will be acting upon the ball in that very slice of time.

Starting this series after watching all of your tensor calculus videos, it's suddenly hitting me how tangent-space-y reference frames are, particularly on the case of frames that are the associated inertial frame tangent to a point on a non-inertial path
