For me, an Alpinist alternative is as much about the features as the look. I'm looking for a compass bezel and for perfect field protection, a crown at the 4:30. Plus decent water resistance for wet days hiking or just doing chores around the house. So I'm still looking.

That's a very stylish watch and stunningly good looking. Far too stylish for me though. The brand's name had me singing a certain theme tune which had Big Bird in it.

This type of watch are good but thé problem they don't have any value this IS not comparable to a Seiko alpinist
