This gives me hope that humanity is capable of such extraordinary feat. But also makes me sad because such feat may not happen in my country...

If there's one bright spot in this tragedy it's that the West can see an example of how efficient China can be at construction. Here in America, the phase "made in China" implies "cheap and of low quality." That's because that's what Americans buy, but it's not all that China makes. When they build things they build fast and with high quality. I've spent nearly half of the past three years in China. It's staggering to leave and then come back 6 months later to see an open field turned into skyrise apartments and malls in the time I was away. And consider this: in 2008, before the Chinese Summer Olympics, there was ONE high speed rail line in the entire country -- it ran from central-ish Shanghai to the airport. Today more than half of all the high speed rail lines in the entire world are in China. Think about that: China build more high speed rail in 10 years than the entire world has built, ever. Now, they just need to oust their dictatorial government and end censorship and they'll be in great shape.

Not a contractor. How does the cement between floors have enough time to cure to be stable enough??? I'd imagine it's pretty darn thick.

Edit: Oh. It's mostly one floor buildings then?

Great job on construction.
"handed over in a stepwise manner" sounds Chinese.
"handed over in stages" is English.
