Coronavirus: Time-lapse of Huoshenshan hospital built in 10 days

In footage released by China Global Television Network, the groundwork and initial building stages can be seen as builders race to build a Coronavirus treatment hospital.

China had originally promised to build the hospital with 1,000 new hospital beds within six days. This would beat the current record-holding purpose built SARs hospital which was build in Beijing in 2003.

Huoshenshan hospital was built in just 10 days and transferred patients to the facility on Tuesday.
