For all of you who follow this Tutorial step by step and your SQL Shell doesn't seem to do anything when you type in any psql command. I THINK this has to do with Windows? He is on a Mac in this part of the tutorial. But don't get frustrated as I got. If you continue watching the Video you will see that the steps with the psql-Commands aren't mandatory to connect to your Database on Windows.

I have the user as postgres by default (in the psql terminal), but when I try to use the terminal it asks for the password of my user account, I enter my password but it fails, anyone having an idea?

I recomend that you get and download a ready database and make a java program to do some things with that and show some results with react mb or with java and use swing gui kind of. But thats only my opinion i just wanted to see one like that cant find any.
