Did you know that you can charge this power station with 12v solar panels?! Check out the "Charging" section of the video for more info!

I have this unit. It runs our new Whirlpool refrigerator for 28 hours which is great since we have regular power outages. It will run the fridge, wifi, and most of the household requirements (not the heater though) during a typical outage, which is 6-10 hours. Very happy with my purchase.

As I suspected! You CAN charge off 12V PV. The voltage limitation makes sense now. I just got this and have only used AC to charge and was SO confused about the disparity in car vs. PV charging, not knowing that different settings change the input limits. 😅
Very thorough and SUPER helpful review Jason. You have a new channel member for life!👍

Still relevant for 2022 and years to come… we just had almost 3 days of a power outage in Puerto Rico and I used the almighty AC200/p with b230 battery… outstanding combo

Very nice review, thank you! I like how Bluetti keeps improving its units. I build my own solar generators and can't live without the run time/charge time battery state meters. It's nice to plug in a window AC unit and have that meter tell you how many hours and minutes the battery will last until the low voltage protection cuts off the power. Also, I enjoy watching the battery meter recalculate the remaining solar charge time after a cloud passes and the panels get full sun. Bluetti should add this feature as it is way more valuable than watching a percent meter. Keep up the excellent work!

Wow, your review of the AC200P is exceptional. I have a 200MAX yet your review actually provided more useful information about it than the dedicated MAX reviews I have seen. So much of what you said is directly applicable to this later model. I especially appreciate your concise coverage of the display functions. Also, as you stated, you are the first person I have come across who has discussed how to charge these units with a single 12-volt solar panel. I can envision circumstances where this capability, however seemingly minor, might prove useful. Your straightforward, no frills analysis and presentation of your findings is refreshingly pragmatic.

By the way, how feasible is the viewer's suggestion of using a 36-volt charger to provide input?

Great review, new sub here. I just ordered this on sale, today. I think it is very much relevant in 2022 and for $1200. it is the one I chose. My use scenario will be for EMERGENCY backup thru a transfer switch similar to the one you use. Time will tell the rest of the story. Your diligent work sorting out all of these units helps greatly to make a purchase decision. Thank you for all you do!

Excellent review! I bought a Bluetti AC200p in March 2021, and after 3 years it suddenly lost about 80% of it's capacity. There's some other videos that show how to "re-calibrate" the BMS which match what Bluetti asked me to try; charge to 100%, let it sit overnight, discharge to 0%, then charge back to 100%. Did not work on mine. I submitted a warranty claim (4 year warranty) and Bluetti asked me to ship it to TX for repair. The estimate to have it packed and shipped by a qualified hazmat shipper is over $400. I asked Bluetti what to do, they said they would ship me a re-built AC200p without me returning the unit. That was 3 weeks ago and silence since. I'll keep waiting. Question: After learning from FedEx that a Lifepo4 battery must be packaged by a qualified 49CFR shipper, how do customers return batteries under warranty while avoiding the fairly serious liability of not being 49CFR qualified?

I think you covered the whole product and make the best review for the AC200P I have seen ever… note that 60w PD port is the best when the unit was produced

I bought this power station last Christmas and I am very happy with it. Great review and enjoyed all the testing methods that you performed in the video. I never knew that I could use 1 solar panel through the car charging 12 volt port.

We have one of these and love it. The two things I wish they'd address and you touched on one of them is a bluetooth interface and also displaying the unit serial number in a better place. They want it for registration, but it took me a while to find it (it's a tiny label on the bottom, unmarked), should be in the rear badge or on the front included in specs once the unit is turned on. Great video, thanks.

Great video. You have become one of my favorite reviewers. Love that you tested the single panel input through lighter selection. Smart. Love to hear your thoughts about this unit vs. 200Max. I know you need to buy your units, so I am willing to wait. I know some people like the display on this unit, but I worry of it fails you have a huge paperweight. Also, it is nice to have physical buttons for things. Thanks again for your awesomeness.

Regarding fridges - if it runs a defrost cycle, there is a 300 - 600 W defrost heater that can also come on.

Got one of these delivered to me today. It is factory refurbished with full 2 year warranty, paid $806 total for it. It’s quite a bit different from my eb70s. I need to increase the size of my solar setup.

Great testing! Very well demonstrated for practical use. That is the most important. I am interested in home back up and this unit will provide some needed power. Thanks for this.

Great review 👍🏻. I’d love to see an entire video on charging Bluetti/EcoFlow units from LiFePO batteries, especially using a boost converter. A 36v converter will charge this unit in PV mode.

I’ve been reluctant to use a boost converter because the pigtails on the input side aren’t adequate to handle the potential amperage on most units I’ve seen.
