Great tip Ed about soldering! That’s what I do. If i know that if I’m not going to completely finish my piece that day than I’ll leave it for that day!

I *borrowed* some metal polish from my husbands garage stash and this stuff shined the soldier like a diamond and made the copper patina really pop.

Great tips on cleaning the flux. So many people have said to clean with Dawn dishsoap and baking soda, but you're saying just baking soda, is that right? Should I just be rinsing the piece after applying patina? Thanks for all the information you provide.

I’m having troubles with my black patina on lead free solder. Is this normal? Is it possible to “overwork” the patina?
