I'm soooo glad to see a father teaching his son & others how to properly shine & take care of their shoes!! My dad taught me at a young age (so I could do it for him) how to shine his shoes, he had a wooden box that had the shoe holder on top, old school!! All of the brushes etc were inside & still have it (from the 40's)!!

To those who post negative replies, just understand that you may have a father figure in your life, but that doesn't mean everyone else in the world has one. I never had one, and I am very appreciative of this man taking the time to teach his son and show us how to do things all young men should know how to do!

My dad taught me how to shine shoes this exact same way. As a kid, Polishing his work shoes was my daily chore and I actually grew to love it. Dad passed on over 30 years ago and this brought back great memories
