As a retired designer I love seeing all styles. We can always learn from others even as a designer. I think the mistakes people make are trying to follow rules that they think they have to do . Your home is a place where you should become you. Sarah’s home is lovely because it is her personality. Be you in your home. You don’t want a cookie cutter home. It would be boring if you walked in someone else home if it looked just like every home you walked into. We are all different and enjoy different things. Sorry I didn’t mean to get on my soapbox. I just want people to love their home. Sarah has done a beautiful job being her and even if it is not your style you can learn so much for it. Sorry if this is not allowed. Please delegate. I just want everyone to walk in their home and enjoy. God bless.

Sarah’s October Home was one the first YouTube channels I discovered…and I was hooked. I agree with you that it is just obvious that she has a kind soul! I love her home and feel so happy for her when she finishes a room or finds the perfect thrifted item for a space. She just seems to be the kind of person that deserves all that’s good in life. 😊 And I hope she gets it!
