When you do the copy to the Downloader on the original Internal drive how does it know to install it to the USB drive and not the original internal drive?

THIS IS A GREAT VIDEO!!! I'm not very experienced and I was able to stop the video, and watch where the cursor went and get the job done. If you need to install the MiXplore Add, don't forget to go into My Firestick and turn it on.
I tried 3 or 4 other videos using other Apps and I was not able to get the job done.

excellent video, and easy to understand. One question: is there a trick to updating apps in the USB storage? Do they have to be returned to internal storage to update an app, and then moved back to the USB? When I select "install the update" it seems to want to update internally, and always tells me there's not enough space.

Thanks for the video. When you did this video on your main channel, I commented, but didn’t receive a response. It’s great to move apps to the usb to save space. The problem occurs whenever there is an app update. You have to delete the app and reinstall it, because the update won’t install until you do this. It will say there isn’t enough storage space.

Great video as usual! If I use a usb hub could one usb drive be used for external storage and the other for device storage? I saw when you plugged in your usb drive it gave you those options. Thanks again. #firestick

I did the move to USB of my apps, but what I found were problems with various apps which otherwise run flawlessly and smooth when installed on the internal device itself. For instance, Cinema HD simply acts erratic, freezes, then crashes. More often than not, it's not very accessible, particularly when searching. I noticed the same hiccups when using Xplore and other apps. Twice I moved them from USB back to device memory, and vice versa. I also restarted the Firestick after each change. The best performance was with the apps installed on the Firestick itself.

Hello tduk. Thanks for another good video. Does using this method stop app updates from amazon store? I have all of my official apps installed from amazon so they can be updated and moved via adb to usb.
