Big Surf Slams into Lunada Bay Palos Verdes

12-15 ft sets on the morning of Dec. 22nd 2024. This is the biggest surf to hit since the beginning of the year.

In Huntington Beach yesterday, the waves were big but they were all walled up.

The Jack ass on the burgundy board is an mofu. Cant ride bigger waves either. The guy who drops in at 1:14 can surf this stuff, to bad he was overgunned!

With the mush softening the wave there's a few good moments you could have done a big floater. It needs to be 30 feet to hollow up the wave and pipe.

In general, it is a slow wave. Doesn't jack at all. Catch and drop in, no elevator. Waves are 16 mph. Not 28 mph like Jaws. Slow, slow, slow. Big, but sssllllooowwee.
