Chicago’s first four studio albums are flat out masterpieces.

The fact that "Beginnings" and "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is" went nowhere in 1969 just meant that most people weren't ready for the sound. That they came to be more appreciated with time is a testament to the quality of the music. Both songs sound just as good today as they did 55 years ago.

I was a huge fan when I was a teenager - as far as I am concerned the Chicago sound died with the Great Terry Kath. Rest in Grace Terry.

Terry Kath, perhaps the greatest guitar player that the majority of people
have never heard of. Hendrix knew

Terry’s daughter made a documentary about her dad. It’s called “The Terry Kath Experience”, and it is phenomenal!

I am 67 and they were my 2nd ever concert. One thing I appreciated about them is that my parents also liked them. Very rare in the era/house I grew up in.

42:56 What an amazing documentary!! WOW!! My first memory of listening to Chicago was in1974 I was 8 yrs old On KJR radio with my dad and little brother driving in his ranchero and dad turned the song up which he rarely did. He said I really like this song. So as I listened to it I said dad it's Saturday today and we are going to the park!! At Greenlake in Seattle Washington. He chuckled and said why yes, Shannon that's right. I thought it was a great song and Chicago is one of my favorite bands. I am 58 now. Those were the days. I miss my Dad. I am absolutely so proud And amazed that this group went through such a great tragedy and never gave up. This has to be the only group that has ever gone through this many changes and has still made so many great hits. The dedication they all had is so amazing the determination I believe also came from Terry Kath. I think the band knew he would never have wanted them to give up I also believe that the members kept Terry Kath alive each time they sang. They kept his memory alive. Chicago's music will be heard for so many decades to come. After we are gone their music will live on. This band is so original to me. They reinvented there music and a few members throughout the years. They never lost their touch. Chicago you did Terry Kath PROUD!!!

Terry’s daughter made a documentary that’s a must see. The underlying thread is her hunt for his iconic Tele.

I had every Chicago album 1 through 13. I listened to every one of them so often, the covers were falling apart. Such an amazing sound. They were pioneers in so many ways. I hope they're proud of what they accomplished.

I can remember so very clearly when I heard on a radio station that Terry Kath had died. It absolutely broke my heart! I just can't imagine how it affected his wife, family, friends and members of Chicago. I was a huge fan of his, having been a guitarist/musician for several years at the time. It really preoccupied my day, and actually days to follow. Even today it makes me so sad. He was one of the greatest guitarist/musicians ever! Man, he was a monster on guitar! God Bless you Terry Kath.

I don't think there has ever been a band that sounded as great as Chicago did. They were wonderfully unique, with stellar singers and musicians. Certainly one of the greatest of all time.

The first rock concert I ever attended was Chicago at War Memorial Stadium in Buffalo, NY on August 31st, 1971. I was 16 years old. My older brother took m and my good friend. My brother is now deceased, but that memory is indelibly inked in my brain. Chicago was young, exciting and full of great music. The show was very energetic and exciting. I will never forget it. What a great band. The songs in the 70's were so good. I lost interest after Terry Kath died. But I still play those albums today. Chicago II was an incredible album. Good memories!
