That’s right!! I’m glad u spoke up for yourself! She figured you wouldn’t say anything. But you shocked her. Some people can be so nasty. Why can’t we all just be friendly and work together. This sounds corny but I swear by TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK…things just run so much smoother when people work together.

I worked in healthcare for 10 years and left the field. NOT as a nurse thank goodness but I do work side by side to them in the hospital. They are just horrible human beings. I don't curse, I am not loud person, I am not obnoxious. So I am usually a good target to them... my coworkers who are more loud never were.

I now work from home making less than I did before but I am completely happy. Mental stress is better now. I never have to deal with them again.

My advice is if you are not a narcisst, bully, mean spirited person.. do not go into the nursing field. for your own sanity.

It so sad that some nurses treat people terrible because they envy them or dislike them due to outer appearances smh. I experienced two nurses bullying me. Both were my preceptors, my co workers told me that the one preceptor is mean to all new nurses mind you this nurse only has 2 years experience. My other preceptor gets a major attitude and talks to me like she is ready to fight then the next second wants to be cool and have a conversation like hell no we not cool you just showed me your true colors. How you going to get aggressive with me and then wonder why I don’t want to talk and have outside conversations with you that doesn’t require me to talk to you. Today though I’m not dealing with the bs because it was only my second night on the floor and she expected me to know it all because I have 5 months experience at another hospital in a different specialty. Smh 🤦🏾‍♀️ people kill me acting like they knew it all as a new nurse.

Girl. No. That Charge Nurse was in the wrong. It’s not fair with that nurse to patient ratio and its not safe as well. A charge nurse on my floor and I got into it multiple times for her trying to give me a BS assignment.

First of all- HAIR IS GETTING LONG! Always been beautiful tho 😍 and im so glad you talked about this subject. I love my job because the unit is welcoming and helpful. Like a family like you said. It terrifies me to know that when i move, i might have to be on a unit that isn’t so welcoming..
