I agree, Late 20’s for me to grow a full beard. Only recently grew a full beard again at 41 after not having one for 10 years. Time is definitely a factor for most, like Greg said.

When i was 18/24 i had no beard thin mustache and on my chin now at 26 i have a a full beard its continuing to perfect and getting better.

Moustache came in at 12 or 13, but it was wispy. Had a full beard pattern at 20, but it was still pretty thin. I'm now 22 and would say that I have a "proper" beard.

I asked my father when i was 10 "so when do i get my beard" he paused for a second thinking about his own life "you'll be around 20 before you can grown a presentable beard and he was right by 20 i was able to grown a circle beard to a decent length im now 23 and almost got a full beard the lower cheek is taking the longest to totally fill in but im just leaveing my face alone since my work have no facial hair stipulations

I can help in this topic my beard fully came in and gotten thicker at 19/20 but i have been growing a beard since 15 which was so thin i left to grow as it wished i have seen it change from thin hair to beard hair and get filled in. So young lads chill out and be patient.

I always wanted a beard at 18 but sadly I had to wait 6 years for it to come in it’s just the way it is be patient don’t shave! just keep growing x

I'm 19 and I'm just starting to get some hair on my cheeks and above my lip. Only had chin hair and sideburns before so I am excited

Minoxidil will work if having a beard is in your genetics (family & relatives) and you use it consistently for a long enough period. It’s not magic and grow hair in areas of patches, but will speed up the maturation of vellus “baby” hairs.

im 18, this was therapy you know. im going clubbing alot i get alot of looks from people, them thinking im like a 6ft 12 year old lol.

Bruh if I remember correctly i started growing full beard at around 16. But always shaved it off cuz I never liked it it made me look old but now im 23. And stopped clean shaving. And damn I realized how good my beard looks the shape and color and everything I'm totally blessed.

I also had quite a full beard (except soul patch) by 14 and I always took it for granted. Now at 17 I have started growing a beard and it looks so good. "Keep growing" is what I would say to my beardless homies out there!

I'll turn 21 in two month, in july, and my beard has been growing slowely but surely over the course of the years and is nowhere to be full yet. I still have quite a lot of patches, my sideburns aren't that high, my mustache is not currently what one could call outstanding but I can say that it grows. Don't be affraid if your beard is not full at the age of 20 or even after. Mine started to appear a little when I was 17 and it took 3 entire years to finally become suitable and I can still see changes nearly every month now, even after my facial hair finally got fine. Keep it up guys, keep growing it, I'm sure yours will show up soon enough!

In my teens I could barely grow more than peach fuzz. Now entering my late 20s in the next few months and get full coverage just wish it was a bit fuller growth on the sides.

15 y/o here. I have exactly 1 beard hair, and I'm glad it at least started already

I started to grow an almost entire full beard at the age of 24, before that, I had few cheek hairs, but at the age of 24 I decided to let it grow for more than a month, as I never did it before, I was shaving every week because I didn't like my cheek hairs, I noticed that after a month I had something that can be finally called a beard, but when I shaved it, I saw that the first weeks I was still having few cheek hairs, so I noticed that I have a full beard but my hairs grow at very uneven times. So if you guys think you have a bad beard, try not shaving it for more than a month, and you will see that the problem is the uneven grow and the time it takes to grow entirely. now at the age of 25 I can say I have a full beard but with the same "problem" as the last year, it grows slow and uneven, but after some months of let it growing, I have a very good beard
