how to annoy a reader

as a reader, personally, what do people say to you that really just pushes your buttons? let's discuss

You know what is even more annoying?
When you are the only reader in your circle of friends and have no one to discuss books with ☹️

I hate when they do this. I was at lunch and sparked some friends who were complaining about reading why they don't like to read and my friend said, "Cuz it sucks." Right at that moment, I wanted to slap her.

"I hate humanity."  How every reader feels when they've been spoiled on a book.  =D

I get the urge to throw books at people a lot but then I come to my senses and realize it would taint the book lol

As a reader, - when someone is proud that they don't read, actually proud and boasting about it! As a writer, - when someone says, - "No matter what kind of reviews your book gets or how much anybody likes it, I'll wait for the movie to come out, thanks! Or, the ladies in the library who saw me writing part of my novel in a notebook, leaned over my shoulder and read a little of it without asking if they could, then laughed and laughed, thinking it hilarious that I was, in their words, "writing the Great American Novel"!... Old Bitches! I wanted to say, - "And, what are YOU doing with YOUR life???" But, I didn't. I basically have good manners and why feed ugly trolls.

"Yeah I'll come back. I'll smack you with my book" XD. My dad is always annoying me when I'm trying to read so when he started to do the same whilst I was reading City of Heavenly Fire, I found out that it comes into good use as an arm basher XD
