I changed the title to 2023 because I think that this video is still relevant even one year later since the DSLR landscape is not changing anymore. Let me know if you agree with that change. Happy new year everyone โฃ๏ธ

I LOVE this video. I have never seen anyone make the photos from THIS camera look as good as you did. This shows that itโ€™s in the skill not the camera. Thank you for this video

I just picked up this camera as my first DSLR for $200. Got it with two lenses, 18-55mm and 70-300mm. Only had a shutter count of 900! Already purchased a 50mm 1.8G. Love this camera!

Thank you for such a great video! Your images at the end are all mesmerizing. I received my D3400 as an unexpected birthday gift, which my Mom urged me to learn to take professional images of my art. And over the years, my usage of the camera has turned into an obsession to learn all the ins and outs of this fascinating tool. I completely empathize with your fondness for this Nikon camera. When I encounter other camera users, I take pride that I shoot Nikon, and I engage them with a barrage of questions, and try to gain any new knowledge. I'm starting to feel part of the club and a dying breed at the same time. I really believe I will learn alot from your channel. I even coped that 17-50mm Sigma 2.8 lens, man, you weren't kidding, that's a quality lens for a reasonable price! Well any way, blessings to you and STAY CREATING!

I agreeโ€ฆ The price this camera is selling for is a steal for how versatile the camera is and the sensor is a budget powerhouse

Yesterday I let go of my D3400 in favor for a Sony a6400. After almost 6 years of using my D3400, itโ€™s been a solid & very reliable camera. I bought a 35mm & 50mm lens for it yesterday and loved it even more, but recently I wasnโ€™t super happy with my camera so I decided to make the move. It is still a great camera to start off with if youโ€™re on a budget. I canโ€™t wait to see where my photos will end up with on my new Sony!

Found your channel while searching for Nikon D3400 content. I have been using this for around 4 years now & I have been making quite a few bucks from it. Loved your review. I will look into the Sigma lens. Looks really good. Subbed!

Mate... What a vid! Thank you so much for the advice on which lenses to "grow into". Looking to start photography and am really struggling with deciding whether to invest into a good body or glass at the beginning. Your vid was very informative and beautiful. Subbed for sure! Cheers :)

The D3400 is smallest and is the cheapest Nikon DSLR that fully support the AF-P lenses (lenses that works better with the Z line for video via FTZ too). I have seen the D3400 for $150usd with low shutter count and near mint condition. Your video is the confirmation that it will be a good buy.

I have a d7000 inherited from my late mother, recently decided to go back to college and learn photography, recently my friend gifted me the 3400d with a pretty low shutter count of 7000. Its really nice to have a lightweight 2nd camera in addition to my bigger camera. I'm in London this weekend and I plan to visit and shoot the MCM Comic book convention. Should be a good weekend.

I had D3100 with 70-300, bought it from my own money as a student, abuse it to the core and I still have my favourite photo from it. I still remember the forest ranger use D90, they're rugged and comfy to hold.
Like another commenters, you're the example of photographer with skill + cheap beginner camera, which my account filled with it and it's good thing (thanks youtube's algorithm!).
Great job with the presentation too!

I found you looking for photography with Nikon D3400, Iโ€™ve had this camera for 5-6 years now and havenโ€™t really used it much, but now that I found your videos Iโ€™m excited to see what I can capture. I have 2 of the kit lenses and the Nikon 50mm f/1.8 and I just bought the sigma 17-50mm f/2.8. I canโ€™t wait to receive it! Next lens on my purchase list is the Nikon 35mm f/1.8, thank you for your recommendations. P.S in one week I became obsessed with seeing your videos that involved the Nikon D3400 โ˜บ๏ธ
