Jarrett already explained it. He told Pritchard that if Vince went to prison and left him in charge Pritchard would be the first one he would fire. Pritchard has spent the last few years trying to discredit Jarrett in interviews.

If I remember correctly, Bruce learned from Paul Boesch in Houston.

It’s sad that years of dislike started over a chicken salad

Bruce says that Jerry told his brother Tom that Bruce didn't want him in WWF, which caused a massive fracture in his family

Jerry Jarrett booked the 123 Kid to beat Razor Ramon on Raw in 1993. What a great idea!

you could always tell there was something personal by how angry bruce seemed to be at jerry. it was obviously more than just being unimpressed with him as a booker

Bruce Prichard came out of Paul Boesch's Houston Wrestling promotion.started out selling posters as a young kid and worked his way up. Nothing glamorous, but he put in solid time in a respected territory.

It’s no secret that Bruce was always seen as a “yes man “ and Jerry seen it from the beginning

Always remember Bruce and STW and Conrad making a joke of Jerry. So that’s all I thought of Jarrett at the time. After a couple years my mind changed. I remember they did a bit where they essentially prank called Jerry, even at the time I thought that was weird and kinda wrong. Especially now knowing it came from a bad place.

What Vince says goes. We don’t know what is said behind the scenes. Doesn’t matter if you agree or disagree with vince. You can’t be in a job all those years by simply saying yes. Bruce was in many different roles and learned how to do the job he was asked to do. He admits that he was bad at talent relations and he was clearly bad at creative because he and Cornett were displaced by Russo. You don’t stay there without having some sort of value. If you were there and seen it 1st hand, fair enough but it’s all just speculation.

Bruce is a yesman. Nothing more, nothing less. Just like Michael Hayes. That's the only reason they have had jobs. For as long as both have been around the business, its amazing how much they both lack creatively. He was jealous of Jerry Jarrett because Jerry is an actual booker/promoter with actual creativity.

Bruce seems like a creative mind. Yet when I read and listen to him he looked at Paul Bosch and Vince McMahon as father figures. That’s well and good, but it seems like he wanted that brass ring if and when Vince stepped away. As Vince’s children were in college or not ready for their chance he figured it was his spot. It sadly seems he kneecapped any influence Jerry could’ve had, and probably made it hell to work with from stories he’s even recalled himself. Which is more strange cause by doing that he was really just making the overall WWF product which was stale at the time worse off.

If Jerry had taken over, Jeff would’ve broken Flair’s world title record 3 times over by the end of the 90s.
