For those of you who come here having issues with how long it takes for the scans (up to an hour and a half for me) use the syntax for min-rate to speed the scan up. -A --min-rate 5000 {IP} and I think you'll find this helps you speed things up.

I hit a wall when I was trying to download the bash file in my browser and figuring out how to copy it to my THM environment. But then I suddenly remembered that THM has it's own internal browser. I went to github site, downloaded the file, and was able to finish off the room

These nmap scans I'm doing are killing me! -A -p- [IP] this is taking me like 30-45 min to complete! Is this normal?

Is it worth trying a -T2 or -T3 to scan ports only?

Why did your nmap scan (video 3:30) finish in 24 seconds but mine is going to take an hour (same command)? -T4 didn't give me the right amount of open ports. I just entered the showmount to skip all the scans in this case.
