Not gonna lie Wolverine waking up naked next to beat cheeks and the mob trying to kill him was hilarious and pretty on brand for Wolverine.

Tbh this would be a good part in the timeline for the OG X-Men to return for Deadpool and Wolverine. Everyone is alive at this point so it would be cool to see these X-Men in action for once instead of how the original trilogy portrayed them.

As a kid the ending made me so happy that I thought we were going to get an Apocalypse movie with the original cast, but no, we went back to prequel territory with even more inconsistencies scattered throughout that mess. Even Famke Janssen was upset over it.

This is my all time favorite
X-Men movie because it’s such a great storyline for the X-Men and Marvel and Magneto had one of the greatest villain speeches ever

Before this movie I had never even heard of Blink and after seeing the few action scenes she had it left me wanting to see a lot more of her. I feel like they could come up with some cool stories with her power set. She’s a very underrated character.

Did you know that there was supposed to be a Matthew Vaughn X-Men trilogy?

Days of Future Past was supposed to be the final movie in the trilogy and there was supposed to be a movie in between First Class and this one.

My only problem with this amazing movie was that the exposition at the beginning was horribly rushed. We should've gotten a movie taking place between The Wolverine and Days Of Future Past. However a problem with that is that if they made a movie bout the X-men fighting the sentinels and failing THEN Days Of Future Past, Infinity War and Endgame would feel derivative.

When I first saw this, I really didnt like the X-Men. I thought they were boring. But I have to admit I was so impressed and I really enjoyed it. It made me watch every X-Men movie some years later.

This truly is the best of the main X-Men films, I absolutely love it. And how dare the Academy not nominated Michael Fassbemder for Best Supporting Actor, his speech was more than worthy of it.

Also, 20th Century Fox were pumping out banger sequels in summer 2014. Not just with this but also How to Train Your Dragon 2 and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
