The reason why Magneto didn’t help fight further by using the metal as projectiles is because he was mortally wounded. I’m betting the mutants would’ve lasted longer but definitely not win this fight.

I like how Bishop is able to take out the 3 sentinels as they overload him with energy, if he's going down he's taking them all with him.

It’s the way Halle Berry and Ian Mckellen performs their movements that brought to life these mutants. They just knew exactly how to do it to make it magical and realistic.

This is still hands down one of the best fight in the entire MCU. I wish they made more fight scenes like this - intense, you feel a sense of dread and uncertainty. Now it’s just full of jokes.

This scene is still more epic and intense than any battle scene I've seen in the MCU. There, you know the heroes are going to win eventually. This movie succeeds so well in keeping you on the edge of your seat until Raven ie Mystique drops the pistol.

I'm still not a big fan of this Rogue Cut. I think it's much better that Kitty is so mortally wounded that she can't help anyone. And it's much more powerful that Bobby dies protecting them toward the end.

And besides, Bobby is supposed to be practically immortal. He can come back from the steam after being melted from what I hear. If he dies early on, it makes no sense that we wouldnt see him come back later. But if he dies close to the end of the movie, we could argue that he'll come back after everything is said and done.

I remember watching this Days Of Future Past scene in the cinema! The moment Storm gets stabbed, you could literally hear the combined gasp from the audience. The film really took it's 'Characters' seriously, over it's 'Fans'.
It's a shame that this is something Marvel has lost; with death no longer been taken seriously. They managed to cleverly write Loki back into Season 1 and 2. And even a plausible reason with Gamora, in Guardians of the Galaxy. But what with Downey Jr. just all getting a big silly now.
