What is T-Mobile 5G UC? How fast is it? Is it faster than Verizon and ATT 5G? 1GB speed??

I just noticed the 5GUC icon on my IPhone 12 Prom max and tested out the speed. It was amazon but nowhere near 1GB. Hopefully we will get to 1GB soon.

These are actually real LTE speeds. Carriers have really been able to sell us on what they have been telling us 4G was going to be for 12 years. Gigabit should have been possible on LTE. Multi gig is real 5G. Unless it’s hitting 1gb+ don’t accept the marketing hype.

Yeah and its not just in big cities also, I live in a fairly big city (100, 000 population) and get 5g UC almost everywhere and am getting 700mbps up! I think verizon and att should focus on midband before mmWave bc no one really needs 2gbps on their mobile device 100mbps is plenty in almost all scenarios.

Theyve now added so many to the network that the speeds in my area are no better than dial up from 95

When i have 5g cu speed is around 700mb but ping and jitter is high as heck. Cant play online mobile games

I have 5G UC but when not it's still 300 mb and in UC is up to 2000 MB THAT'S INSANE also my app works has ads and stopped working what app do you use I need this app everyone has it please tell no one has answered me 😕

Not that good, I get like 800 Mbps 1mi from the tower here. Probably a 1/2.5 Gbps backhaul.

My Wi-Fi is still faster but it’s nice to know that this is just over 2/3 as fast! Very impressive by T-Mobile to bring this to more than 0.6% of the nation like Verizon

If my phone could pick up 5G UC It would be much faster than my home internet connection, I use AT&T Cellular Because that's still faster and 5G UC is faster than AT&T Cellular that I get, Home Internet is 25/3, AT&T Cellular is 75/20 so yeah

Ultra crap lol everyone is complaining how slow T-Mobile is and you can't even use your phone when you're at any baseball or football game. They suck big time and n41 should not be called ultra-capacity because it's far from that. If millimeter-wave can pull over a gigabyte for tmobile that should be called ultra-capacity but too bad there's no millimeter-wave from T-Mobile pretty much anywhere. I live in New York City and can't find one anywhere.
