I wasn’t profitable until I started scalping. I was always able to go green right away but I was trying to hold for the larger move. however the price would eventually reverse on me before my targets were reached and I get taken out for a loss. So now I’m actually jumping in with bigger size but taking profits before the market has a chance to flip on me. I don’t recommend going with larger size until you have some experience scalping but that’s just what works for me 👍

Divergence, trend line break and FTR. Follow those 3 rules, and you will be profitable on any time frame but works magic on the 1 and 2 minute time frame.

I just realized it is infinitely more simple and easier to switch to a tick chart and a tick counter to be able to follow price velocity, which is in my opinion the one thing that tells you when there are more sellers or buyers. I started using time but it never felt right, then last night I switched to ticks and it is a lot more clear, to see support and resistance and opening and losing price and doesn't look as messy as time charts and when you think about it using time doesn't even make sense because the market is about sells and buy of orders not about how many happen in some amount of time because in 1 minute there can be a million orders and a time chart will make a super messy up and down choppy pattern, while a tick chart will just be straight big candles with opening and closing prices clearly lined up whenever there's a switch between more buyers and sellers. So in few words, tick charts allow you to see support and resistance without any mess and get a clear feel of buy/sell velocity while time charts feel just really random.

Great video, great summary of how day trading should be approached. One important other piece of the puzzle is choosing the right strike price/delta and size. Do you have any videos that explains how you make decisions on this in real time?

Please warn people about spread and/or commission charges on lower timeframes. What looks like a 2.5 To 1 risk to reward in tradingview turns into half that in reality. I know from experience, no matter how low the spreads are.
