The top 5 resume mistakes I see:

1) Don't List Your Address
2) Don't Just List Soft Skills
3) Don't List Hobbies/Personal Interests
4) Do Create Custom Resumes for General Job Areas (business, quant, data science, etc.
5) Use the STAR Method

At the end of the day people who have resumes that seem to fit the job requirements will get interviews where those with general resumes typically won't get any sort of interview.

Thank you for the video! Do you think you should exclude professional interests was well as personal interests? For example I am applying to a quant role and planned to include professional interests (Machine Learning, data science and visualisation, market efficiency).
