I feel that people are stressing Alex out about asking if he’s moving out soon. He wants to stay together with his family pressure free, it’s so obvious! All kids are different and should be allowed their own pace, he just graduated high school, he’s still a young man. He’s not a 30 year old man still living with his parents. Poor Alex, glad he has supportive parents! God bless you Alex.

Alex (referring to aurora): She used to call everyone mom.
Aron : Even me.
Omg ! That was so hilarious. Aron is quiet most of the time, just smiling and supporting others but when he talks he makes sure that stays with the listener. I love this family so much.

It's so sad how people misunderstand the concept of mental health. Everybody goes through something different everybody doesn't go through something worse than the other it's just different. I've struggled with my mental health ever since I was little. And seeing comments like "i don't want to deal with a person who needs help" is so frustrating mental health is not something to be ashamed of. Certain people go through stuff with or without having trauma and I feel like it's kinda annoying when people are like this. Having mental issues doesn't make you any different from a human. If you're reading this you're not alone and that I'm here for you always and I'm proud of you just hang in there 💙❤️

Pcos can sound so scary, but it’s manageable. I was diagnosed almost 18 years ago. Some other comments mentioned diet and I can totally agree! Gluten dairy refined sugar and soy being big culprits of inflammation and in turn causing anxiety, hormone imbalance, acne, bloat, fatigue and more. Whole30 is a great tool to figure out if there are any trigger foods aside from gluten for you. It’s tough in the beginning but gets easier. Focus on all of the great things you can have, and as if you were fueling your car - you wouldn’t use sugar water instead of gas bc the engine would break down, same sort of thing for your body. You’ve got this Hallie! ✨💕 always here to share my experiences or if you have any questions. I’m not an expert or medical professional by any means, but have been managing my pcos for a longer than you’ve been on the earth 😂 love you crazy pieces!

I’m so glad she got Diagnosed.
I’m 17 and I’ve been suffering from anxiety and depression for a few years now and was really struggling. I went to different types of therapy etc to help with it. I’ve also had symptoms of PCOS for a couple of years now but because of my anxiety I was too scared to go to the doctor or speak about it. I spoke about it recently and spoke to the Dr on Monday. She was really good and helpful and pretty much diagnosed me with it but she just needs the results back from the blood test to 100% confirm it. It’s really good to know that I’m not the only one out there, it’s really helpful to be able to know that someone else has been through what I have and especially to share it on social media. I really hope she does make a video about it if she feels comfortable because I know it will help so many people 💖

I'm so glad Halie has officially been diagnosed. I wasn't diagnosed until my mid 20s and I know it made me feel a lot better to know where everything stemmed from and knowing that I am not crazy. I hope that this brings Halie the same piece of mind it brought me. Love you all!

I thought Jake was so sweet over his birthday last year. He was disappointed but didn't complain, and then he was so moved by the surprise.

Ive had chronic depression since I was a kid due to a big trauma and my mom hated it, told people I was lying or just wanted attention. Luckily there were people who recognized it or been through it and helped me get through it or even just someone to talk too. It helps a lot to talk about it and have someone to help you💖❤

At 26 my lifetime of medical issues came to a head (pun intended) when a car wreck had me do an MRI and a brain tumor was discovered to be affecting the hormone producing parts of my brain. Halie, you’re blessed to find out young so you can prevent some of the complications had you not known for another 10 years. There will be massive hills and deeper valleys but a strong faith and a loving family go a long way in helping through the journey. I know you’ll make the most out of your life no matter what obstacles you’ll face. Despite using a walker and several other issues, I’m married and just adopted a son. If I can do that, you can do anything!

Someone dear to me also has PCOS. Thank you for helping me understand that the anxiety and depression are linked to that. I actually didn't realize that. Thank you Pettit fam, especially Halie/Halo for sharing your story. You really are helping others through their mental health journeys. 💜💜💜

When everyone has their own families and children, holidays are going to be even more awesome! I hope you never stop making your videos, but there may be a time where you have to step away from the cameras. I just honestly feel like I belong to your family even though I don't technically. It makes missing my own family a little bit easier to watch families that are doing well.

I’ve been watching your vids from Hallie at 11 yrs old up to now that shes 17.

Her having PCOS, this just give an answer as to why Hallie have acne/pimple problem. That is also important part of the signs and symptons of having PCOS. Glad she’s fine. I love her so much.

I’m in the allied mental health profession. Listening to Crystal and Aaron, I thought this is an intelligent conversation. And full of heart. And good advocacy for mental health. How privileged your kids are. Keep up the good work dad and mom!

We have a child with significant mental health illness that hasn’t ever been narrowed down to one diagnosis. There are a lot of people that judge us as parents even though we have done everything within our means to help them. The saying “Don’t judge me unless you have walked a mile in my shoes” holds so true to this day.

Ooh ooh, please read.
For the glass pool fence, you could have all the children decorate it and draw on it with this arts and craft material that dries (you can always peel it off later). It could make it look colorful and homie, whilst adding visibility, especially for the younger kids who might run in to it
- sincerely advise from a kid who ran into glass doors a lot growing up

I have a number of mental and physical health conditions, one of them is PCOS. I was diagnosed with PCOS in my 20's and really wish I had been diagnosed sooner, and I'm so glad that she was! I'm also so glad to see that she has such a wonderful support system!!! Wishing Halie the best!!! 💕
