U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has ordered a guided missile submarine to the Middle East and is telling the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier strike group to sail more quickly to the area, the Defense Department said Sunday.

The moves come as the U.S. and other allies push for Israel and Hamas to achieve a cease-fire agreement that could help calm soaring tensions in the region following the assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran and a senior Hezbollah commander in Beirut. Officials have been on the lookout for retaliatory strikes by both Iran and Hezbollah for the killings, and the U.S. has been beefing up its presence in the region. Israel fears that Iran may initiate a direct assault before August 15, especially following Hamas’ exit from truce talks, which has heightened tensions. These fears are compounded by the recent escalation in Iran-Israel relations, triggered by the assassination of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.

Mr. Putin is an example of a leader who is always there to serve his nation and the inhabitants of his nation around the clock. He is caring for the best of his abilities. I regret him for this and would be happy to have a similar leader here in germany also, where I live. Thank god that Mr. Putin is managing the situation there with this war which started with the "Maidan-coup" organized by our "friends" in the west, esp. Mrs. Nuland who payed the terrorist for attacking the legal ukrainian government. Putin had to help his russian fellows under fire by the new government installed by the western forces. Therefore Mr. Putin is right when he states that he did not start this war. The war against russia was started with the illegal Coup agains Janukovic in 2014! It is a shame that the US-corporation is so greedy to support an Ukraine, which wants to eliminate all russians on it's territory. The Neo-Cons and also the neo-liberals do not give a dime to support ideals they always propagate but never follow themselves, like brotherhood of men and the like. Lies Lies and more lies are the foundation of the US-policy since around 60 years. They propagate high ideals but do not follow themselves. Ami please go home and let the nations be free under the sky. We do not need you anymore. Please come to terms yourselve and find a way to deal with your neighbours without arrogance; Deal respectful with others and try to be good examples of fairness without threatening us with your weapons buyed with useless US-Dollars. I want to be a free citizen of a free nation, that is all!
