if you put a bunch of drunk dudes in a house the result would be about the same

I like how the narrator narrates this like a wildlife documentary featuring Meerkats.

Parent saying "you did really really well, fantastic" after seeing the footage qualifies as a crime in my opinion. Like tf.

Having watched both experiments (boys and girls) the take away I have is that whilst the girls were acting like they finally got the taste of freedom, doing things without the fear of being told to stop, the boys acted like they were desperately looking to push every limit to see if anyone would intervene. They were hoping someone would tell them to stop or what to do next. While the girls just wanted to experiment and be creative

the surprise at the end of the show should have been the producers telling the boys that now they had to clean the house

They really elected the right boy to be the leader. George was so kind to Sim when he knew he was feeling down, I would be really proud of him if he was my son.

Oh my gosh, George was an absolute sweetheart towards Sim, even saying "I'm so sorry." when the others didn't leave them alone in the tent.

Felt really bad for Sim cleaning all those dishes alone and being talked about by the other boys in the beginning.

They should do this Experiment again but in a different country because culture plays a big part.

the sheer amount of anger i would feel in that house is unbearable

Wow George looking after Sim is weirdly adorable, also his manners are immaculate. Instead of saying "buzz off Sims sleeping" he gave them a choice of freedom and said "do you have to?" Still allowing them to also do what they want. Also Michael was sweet too, staying on the walkie talkie even though he got kicked out of the tent 😆

It was the small things that really made George stand out. How he stayed up till 11 so that Sim could sleep, and how when he was passed the first meal he decided to continue passing it down so that everyone else would get it before him.

“Sheer hunger had pushed the boys into culinary creativity”

This was the most horrifying documentary I've ever seen. Every psychology class ever should be made to watch both parts of this. One thing I'd like to point out is how the boys were congratulated by their parents, even though they had seen everything that was done, and the girls parents were just glad they were back and safe. Striking.

It would be cool to see this across different countries and cultures. That would help answer the question of whether this is a result of nature or nurture

I'm surprised that guitar made it all the way through without being broken

"By mid-day, sheer hunger had pushed most of the boys into culinary creative."

Then there's that one kid deeply confused on how to use a peeler on a carrot..

Georges parents should be proud of the kid they raised. He has a kind soul

I love how real and raw this is, not overly commentated or edited
