Here are a few candy tips 👇
.
✅ Allow yourself to eat it! Restricting makes you want it more. (Srsly.)
✅ Be present and mindful while eating it. Are you enjoying it? The taste, the texture? Does it feel good to your body?
✅ Take note of WHY you want it. Sometimes we want the candy for an emotional reason (not always bad or wrong) but if you find you don't actually want the candy itself but rather soothing, comfort, etc. and eating the candy wouldn't feel good then brainstorm some other ways to meet the need you're lookin' to fulfill .
✅ Remind yourself you can always have chocolate-y goodness later (even if it's the limited edition pumpkins they'll come back! and while the regular ones aren't aaaaas good they're still available and delish)
✅ Eat past fullness? No biggie. Don't beat yourself up. Use it as a learning experience and reflect on what didn't feel good and what you might do differently next time. Then? Move on!
