I returned a 7600 for a 6760xt over the holidays. There is such a huge difference that I’m really doubtful the 7600xt will move the needle on that decision.

With AFMF turned on you have to use the AMD performance overlay to get accurate FPS numbers. It also has details about what AFMF is doing. You configure it and set a hotkey in the driver.

Specs wise is very similar to the non XT variant so unless you try a VRAM heavy game the performance will be almost the same (AV1+AI+ better power consumption could be great for those who can take advantage of it)

Despite the flaws it's a good card wish it was a bit cheaper like 299 or so

You should revise after a few driver update

Ive been looking for a new gpu, and hearing that the normal 7600 is only like 230 (I already forget 😭) is really inspiring

Hello, I love your vids. In Cyberpunk 2077 to truly test the performanances ingame please also have in mind the area coming from Phantom Liberty expension, Dogtown, which is much more demanding in terms of resources than other areas in Night City.

hyperRX uses AFMF and it doesn't display on afterburner but you should be getting approximately double the framerate displayed

If you don’t mind, please test this graphics card on RE4 Remake and RE8 Village and set the “image quality” to 200%.

Thanks for the video! Upgrading from i5 2500k 1080ti to 5800x and this video pretty much made me get it.

All new cards should come with 16GB+ in 2024. Plenty of used cards with less ram for anyone looking for a deal.

I think this will be an ideal match for an eGPU on the Legion Go or MSI Claw

i thought the graphics card was sitting inside a barbecue grill when it was laying down.

This card probably works well for mid-high quality for those with 4K monitor. Let say those who use 4K monitor for productivity, but still wants to play casual games on the sides.

If I could have one request for your Cyberpunk benchmarks: please go into Dogtown if you have the expansion because it’s the heaviest area in the entirety of CP2077. The rest of the game and the benchmark aren’t a good way to tell what the game will run like anymore

for those who still comparing it to 6700: AV1 encoder and efficientsy is a selling point for 7***

i'm actually gonna buy one of these on payday tomorrow. it's niche, but there are use cases for it if you need the extra VRAM. gonna get the XFX Qick 309, the triple fan one - solid cooling and steel backplate means it should overclock nicely and stay cool doing so. for most people the 6700 XT is the better buy, but those aren't gonna last forever and they don't come with all the RDNA3 goodness like AV1 encoders and AI acceleration.

I think the big thing folks forget about this card is what its trying to Rival. The RX 7600 was meant to rival the 4060, which is pretty much does. But this RX7600xt is meant to rival the 4060Ti performance wise and the RTX 4060 price wise. For that rival it does exceptionally well. Now yes its Memory speed is much slower on a 128 bit bus, but its not a 4K card so a bottleneck from said memory speed is extremely rare and pretty much non existent. The upgraded VRAM is a must especially if you want to even try to run AAA titles. I find this card can run most AAA games at a consistent 60FPS at 1440P max settings (Ultra or high depending on the game) with stuff like frame generation or FSR which you're gonna be using on higher end cards either way. For only 30 bucks more than an RTX 4060 and for 120 bucks less than an RTX 4060TI, 16gb of VRAM and RDNA 3 features this is honestly the best budget card you can get right now. The price to performance is much much better than that of the 4060 and especially the 4060ti because as games just keep evolving even your standard fast paced FPS games are gonna start to need more than 8gb of VRAM. For the price range and what the card is meant to do its very good at doing it.
